Took a little trip over to the local zoo today and the grounds did not disappoint. The zoo in Billings is part botanical garden and part zoo. The zoo has limited hours and limited access right now due to the time of year and work being done to some areas within. One of the sections blocked leads to a good portion of the animals so did not get to see them and the ones that were accessible well, they were all sleeping. Today marks one year in Montana. Hard to believe, yet not. The last six months have been a blur. Sip the coffee. Focus on the positive or the negative will destroy you from within. Cry first, laugh last. Glance back, focus forward. Educate, not pontificate. Foster Love, not hate. Stop, think, then speak. And most of all do something nice for yourself that soothes your soul.
